Paso 1

The photo was taken on April 4, 2018 in Memphis Tn. The event was to remember and honor Dr. King on the 50th anniversary of his assasination.

Paso 2

The photo was sectioned off into 8 pieces at different angles and placed in 4 rows with overlapping pieces. The sections are suspended by stainless cables and attached to a rough sewn cedar plank frame. The art is 60 x 36

Paso 3

The photo that inspired this work was featured on the Wall Street Journel front page and other major newspapers around the country and the world. I also printed the large "I AM A MAN" that is in the photo.
